We are still in the proces of getting this group up and running! So please bear with us. Any help, and/or suggestions are always welcome!
Group Icon:I [KreepingSpawn] am in the process of putting together a group icon, and I'm looking for your help!
I'd like our icon to include members of all branches of the armed forces - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard - and Police and Firefighters.
I'm looking for photos of the police officer, fireman/woman, and/or service member in dress uniform, and saluting the camera.
I'd prefer to use DA-hosted images only!
So far I have found one 'free-use' stock image for the Navy - Ryan USNA Dress Whites Salutes by FantasyStock
If you have an appropriate image and would like to give permission to have it included in this project, please note the group, or KreepingSpawn with a link to the image!

Fire Fighters in Action
Well, I never thought this would happen to me, but I got to see fire fighters at work for the first time in my life, and hopefully, the last. I was sitting here, at the computer, when I saw flashing lights across the street. Apparently, one of my neighbors across the street had a tool shed catch fire. No one would have noticed it if it weren't for another neighbor of mine sitting outside seeing the blaze, and had another neighbor call 911. I didn't see much of the action, but I saw enough to know that if it weren't for my neighbor, or the fire fighters, the whole neighborhood would have been in very big trouble. Also why not do a contest for the icon and let people pick their favorite? Of course when you do the contest you can do a voting by everyone or pick a few judges but give guidelines as to what the icon should embody in spirit.
